This part-time position at Harris Teeter is focused on preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products in accordance with the company’s high standards. The role involves essential responsibilities such as providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, unloading stock, and managing salvage product reloads. This position requires an individual who can work effectively within a team to enhance customer satisfaction and support the store’s overall operations. Candidates will be expected to complete comprehensive training that covers new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge. Job Requirements

  • complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
  • must be IST or AST certified
  • ability to stand, walk, and use hands regularly
  • ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to reach from 6 to 72 inches
  • vision abilities including close vision, color, and depth perception
  • work in moderate to extreme temperature environments
  • willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
  • willingness to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • effective interpersonal skills
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
  • ability to write simple correspondence in English
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

Job Duties

  • prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Starbucks Standards
  • provide customer service
  • clean work areas
  • unload stock
  • reload salvage products according to Starbucks Standards
