The Barista role at Schulte Hospitality Group is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will be an integral part of the SHG team, representing the essence of hospitality by preparing and serving high-quality hot and cold beverages, including coffee, blended coffee drinks, and teas, tailored accurately to customers' preferences. The Barista is responsible for ensuring that customer service stations are fully supplied with paper goods and beverage preparation items, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, utensils, and dining areas. An essential part of the role is monitoring the proper functioning of refrigeration and heating equipment by routinely checking temperatures to comply with health standards.

- minimum of one (1) year experience as a Barista

Job Duties
- Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea to patrons
- correctly customizes orders as requested
- describes product details to customers
- receives and processes customer payments
- serves prepared foods and baked goods including sandwiches, biscotti, muffins, or bagels
- ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items
- cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas
- cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas
- ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment
- stocks supplies or retail products
- may inventory, order, or receive products as directed
- perform various other duties as assigned
