Currently, The Don CeSar is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Barista to join its vibrant coffee shop team. This role is ideal for a coffee enthusiast passionate about crafting the perfect cup of coffee and delivering outstanding customer service. The Barista position is fast-paced and customer-focused, requiring exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while creating delicious coffee beverages. From espresso drinks to lattes and cappuccinos, the Barista will prepare and serve a variety of coffee options, ensuring each cup meets the resort's high standards.
The Barista will engage with customers by taking orders, making personalized recommendations, creating latte art, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities also include following health and safety guidelines, upselling pastries and snacks, handling cash transactions accurately, and ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued. This role offers a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere where creativity and customer interaction are key.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a barista or in a related position preferred
- strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- willingness to learn and follow health and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred
- knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- familiarity with various coffee beans and blends is helpful
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
- prior cash handling experience
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and more
- engage with customers by taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences
- create latte art and ensure each drink is beautifully presented
- maintain a clean and organized work area including coffee machines and equipment
- follow health and safety guidelines to ensure quality and freshness of coffee products
- upsell additional items such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise
- handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- provide friendly and efficient customer service ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued
