Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a barista or in customer service
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Commitment to following health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with various coffee beans and blends helpful
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean work area
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
- Prior cash handling experience
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos
- Engage with customers taking orders and providing recommendations
- Create latte art and ensure attractive drink presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including coffee machines
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure coffee quality and freshness
- Upsell additional items such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service ensuring guests feel welcomed
