This part-time Barback position at WarHorse Gaming in Lincoln, NE, represents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about guest service and hospitality within a dynamic, fast-paced casino environment. The role primarily entails supporting bartenders by maintaining a clean, orderly, and fully stocked bar area. The Barback ensures that all supplies, inventory, and workstations are properly managed to facilitate smooth and efficient bar service that complies with company standards, health regulations, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
As a Barback, the employee plays a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience by assisting in setting up bar stations, replenishing stock, preparing garnishes, and maintaining sanitation levels to meet stringent health department standards. The position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt in rapidly changing conditions. Duties also include assisting with inventory management, waste disposal, and reporting maintenance or equipment issues promptly to leadership.

- Must be at least 19 years of age
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- ability to interact with mobile devices and touchscreen technology
- demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Job Duties
- Stock and maintain bar areas with required supplies, inventory, ice, and service materials
- assist bartenders by replenishing products and supporting daily operational needs
- set up bar stations for service, including preparing garnishes, cutting fruit, stocking ice, and removing waste
- maintain par levels of inventory and assist with ordering, receiving, and delivering supplies
- sort bottles and cardboard for recycling and proper disposal
- ensure bar cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained in accordance with health department regulations
- report maintenance concerns and equipment issues to leadership promptly
- comply with all department policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- maintain compliance with responsible alcohol service requirements, including S.M.A.R.T. or T.I.P.S. training standards
- deliver outstanding guest and team member service at all times
- maintain a professional, neat, and clean appearance
- perform other duties as assigned
