Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 1 year of wait staff experience
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
  • ability to handle difficult customer situations
  • must be personable and friendly
  • ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Job Duties

  • Provide courteous table service to all dining room guests
  • take and deliver all orders promptly
  • serve food and drinks using proper serving techniques
  • accurately record food and beverage charges in the POS system
  • set dining room tables with proper linen, china, and silverware prior to service
  • perform side work such as folding napkins, refilling condiments, and organizing supply storage
  • ensure compliance with state and local sanitation codes
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • greet all customers professionally
  • complete all side work by the end of the shift
  • ensure all sales are balanced at the close of shifts
