The role of Banquet Staff within the Food and Beverage department at Legends Global is an hourly, non-exempt position responsible for supporting the successful execution of catered events. Reporting directly to the Chef and Food and Beverage Supervisor, this role's primary responsibility is to ensure the physical setup and servicing of events meet or exceed established service standards. This includes adhering to sanitation requirements and following catering function orders closely. Attention to detail and responsiveness to guest requests in a timely and efficient manner are essential qualities for success in this position. The Banquet Staff must skillfully set up tables, chairs, and all necessary tableware such as glassware, silverware, and dinnerware, ensuring that catering areas remain sanitary and organized before, during, and after events. This role requires the ability to work well under pressure, manage long hours in a fast-paced environment, and maintain professionalism amid dynamic and sometimes stressful conditions. Additionally, team collaboration plays a central role, as meeting and exceeding guest expectations with courteous and professional service is paramount. Job Requirements
- High School degree/GED or equivalent is required
- At least one year of experience in a Food and Beverage environment preferred
- Must be able to stand and exert fast paced mobility for extended periods
- Must have the ability to lift 25 lbs
- Must have hearing sufficient to clearly hear voices, alarms, bells, and horns
- Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work on site at Charles F. Dodge City Center
- This is an 'On-Call' position with no guarantee of regular hours
Job Qualifications
- High School degree/GED or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a Food and Beverage environment preferred
- Knowledge of etiquette and proper serving procedures
- Skilled in dealing effectively with patrons in a pleasant and courteous manner
- Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a positive attitude and possess exceptional communication skills
- Requires attention to detail and the ability to adapt in dynamic, difficult and stressful situations
- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, especially during busy periods

Job Duties
- Obtain assigned workstation at beginning of shift
- Set up tables, top chairs and tables for catered events as assigned by the Food and Beverage manager in a timely and efficient manner
- Set all glassware silverware, dinnerware, and additional table necessities in a timely manner
- Ensure that all catered areas have been left in a sanitary and organized manner
- Serve all functions in a professional, courteous, efficient manner
- Break down all tables after event
- Ensure all guests needs are exceeded by helping as needed
- Understand and adhere to ASM Global employee policy and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
