Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years bartending experience in a restaurant environment
  • Valid California Food Handlers card
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktail preparation
  • Understanding of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service
  • Strong guest service skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift items up to 50 pounds repetitively
  • Weekend availability

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience as a bartender in a restaurant environment
  • Valid California Food Handlers card
  • Thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service
  • Current knowledge of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service (TIPS Certified or ability to obtain)
  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet and serve guests at the bar
  • Pour drinks, using standard pour specifications
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Clean and stock the bar daily
  • Record accurate tip-out sheets daily
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • Assist with the cleaning of operational areas
  • Serve food as requested
