Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- ability to speak English fluently
- able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours
- ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- punctuality and consistent attendance
- contribute to a positive team environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in cake decorating or similar role
- knowledge of allergy-friendly baking practices
- ability to work with various frostings and fondants
- attention to detail
- basic inventory management skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Frost and decorate basic cakes, cupcakes, and cookies
- write on cakes
- make icings and fillings
- package and label products for storage and/or sell
- garnish pastries
- color frostings and fondants
- create simple fondant decorations including making and applying simple cutouts
- keep inventory of ingredients and supplies
- clean and sanitize food work surfaces and floors
- wash and sanitize utensils, tools, equipment, and surfaces
