Job Requirements

Associates must be at least 18 years of age
exceptional interpersonal skills
willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
ability to write simple correspondence in English
ability to effectively present information to customers and associates who speak only English
ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and perform operations using American money and weight measurement
ability to apply commonsense understanding to follow instructions
ability to handle physical demands such as standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
specific vision abilities including close vision, color, and depth perception
willingness to work in environments with hot, cool, and extreme cold temperatures
ability to follow safety protocols and work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic chemicals

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
one to three months related experience and/or training
basic reading and writing skills in English
ability to present information effectively in one-on-one or small group situations
basic mathematical skills including adding and subtracting two digit numbers
ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
completion of company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
