Job Requirements

  • Associates must be at least 18 years of age
  • exceptional interpersonal skills
  • willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
  • ability to write simple correspondence in English
  • ability to effectively present information to customers and associates who speak only English
  • ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and perform operations using American money and weight measurement
  • ability to apply commonsense understanding to follow instructions
  • ability to handle physical demands such as standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, color, and depth perception
  • willingness to work in environments with hot, cool, and extreme cold temperatures
  • ability to follow safety protocols and work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • basic reading and writing skills in English
  • ability to present information effectively in one-on-one or small group situations
  • basic mathematical skills including adding and subtracting two digit numbers
  • ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
  • completion of company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
