Job Description

We are a small, locally owned and operated bakery and caf dedicated to serving delicious breakfast and lunch options to our community. Our bakery prides itself on creating high-quality baked goods made from scratch, featuring seasonal and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We have built a loyal customer base by offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy fresh pastries, biscuits, yeasted breads, cookies, cakes, and more. We are currently looking to expand our team by hiring a part-time baker with at least two years of experience who is enthusiastic about working early mornings and is a dependable team player. This role is ideal for someone passionate about baking, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. The baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods and supporting kitchen operations to help our bakery run smoothly. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years of professional baking experience
  • availability to work weekends
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • strong work ethic and punctuality
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • must be able to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Baking biscuits daily, pastries, yeasted breads, cookies, cakes
  • making cookie doughs, yeasted doughs, and batters
  • makings sauces, jams, fillings with seasonal and local produce
  • operating Li ge waffle maker
  • washing dishes
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds and be on feet for duration of shift
  • ability to help out the line cooks as needed with prep and expo
