Job Duties

Maintain a store section as assigned and order, receive and stock merchandise using proper equipment
assure proper pricing on merchandise and check product date codes for proper rotation
stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases
prepare perishable products for sale and set up advertising/promotional displays
review invoices/bills for accuracy
clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed by store management
operate a cash register, receive payments from customers, make change, and process check/charge/debit transactions
process cash and/or credit refunds when approved by management
verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages
offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers by providing current store and product information
assist customers with carry-out services by loading purchases into vehicles
perform basic bookkeeping duties including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools
open availability preferred
