We are currently seeking part-time Apartment Grounds & Sanitation Porters, also referred to as Field Services Technicians, to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Apartment Grounds & Sanitation Porter is to keep common areas, dumpster zones, and outdoor spaces in excellent condition. Routine tasks involve managing trash areas, compacting waste with company-provided equipment, handling recycling and compost materials responsibly, and performing general porter duties such as sweeping, debris removal, and pet waste cleanup. The role requires the use of a mobile app to track progress and tasks, ensuring accountability and efficient service confirmation.

Working in this position means staying active by walking across properties, climbing stairs, and performing physically demanding tasks outdoors, which can be a significant benefit for those who prefer not to be sedentary. The position compensates at $19 per hour, with typical schedules running Sunday through Thursday or Wednesday through Sunday, with shifts starting around 6:00 AM for a total of 10 to 15+ hours per week, depending on the market. To qualify, candidates must have reliable transportation that meets specific vehicle criteria, such as owning an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of towing an open utility trailer necessary for the job. Other vital requirements include a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, being at least 18 years old, possessing a smartphone with a data plan to use the company’s work app, and authorization to work in the U.S. Physical expectations include lifting up to 50 pounds, walking long distances, climbing multiple flights of stairs, operating manual trash compacting equipment safely, and working outdoors under various weather conditions.
