Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable service company specializing in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across apartment communities. Valet Living values the strength diversity brings to the workplace and is committed to providing equal opportunities for employment, training, compensation, and promotion to all individuals regardless of race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status. Known for its reliable and consistent service, Valet Living helps apartment communities remain safe, clean, and welcoming for residents by deploying dedicated teams who perform essential upkeep and sanitation tasks every day. The company's strong focus on employee support, safety, and growth opportunities makes it an attractive employer for individuals seeking part-time or supplemental income with a predictable schedule.

The position of Apartment Grounds & Sanitation Porter, also referred to as Field Services Technician, is designed for hardworking individuals looking for a part-time role that combines physical activity with meaningful work. This role entails maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of apartment community outdoor spaces, including common areas, trash and recycling enclosures, and disposal zones. The job is ideal for candidates who prefer a local work assignment close to home, as it involves visiting apartment communities within their area, eliminating time-consuming long-distance driving. The employment type is part-time with a consistent daytime schedule, Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 1 PM, totaling approximately 29 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $20 per hour, with access to daily wages via the DailyPay system, allowing employees to access their earnings quickly.

To be successful in this position, candidates need to have reliable transportation. Specifically, applicants must own either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of towing an open utility trailer along with the trailer itself. This requirement ensures the ability to carry out necessary hauling duties related to sanitation tasks effectively. The role demands physical stamina as employees will be walking long distances, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying weights up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Employees use company-provided equipment to compact and organize trash efficiently and adhere to procedures for recycling and composting materials. The job also involves pet waste removal, litter collection, sweeping, trash liner replacement, and completing general porter services while utilizing a mobile app to track work and confirm completed tasks.

This role offers numerous benefits beyond competitive pay, including the opportunity to stay physically active on the job, enjoy a steady and predictable routine that fits well with other commitments, and participate in a fast hiring process. Furthermore, Valet Living supports career growth by providing opportunities to build skills and advance into leadership or management roles. Employees may also earn referral bonuses by encouraging eligible candidates to join the team. Emphasizing safety, Valet Living supplies all necessary equipment, supplies, and clear operational procedures to ensure a secure working environment. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S., possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance for their vehicle, and own a smartphone with a data plan to use the company's work app. This role is perfect for individuals seeking a second job, supplemental income, or dependable part-time work with visible results every day.
