Job Description

Valet Living is a premier provider of apartment community services dedicated to enhancing the living experience for residents through reliable, professional, and courteous support. As a well-established company in the property services industry, Valet Living focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments within apartment complexes. Known for its commitment to quality and community improvement, the company offers a variety of service roles that contribute directly to the upkeep and smooth operation of multi-family residential communities. Valet Living values diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusivity in its workforce, promoting a supportive workplace culture that encourages growth and employee well-being.

The role of Apartment Grounds & Sanitation Porter, also known as Field Services Technician, is a part-time position designed for individuals seeking consistent day work close to home. Working with Valet Living means having a steady schedule with predictable hours, typically 10 to 15 hours per week, allowing for supplemental income or a reliable second job. This position focuses on performing essential sanitation and maintenance tasks that keep apartment communities looking their best and fostering a safe environment for residents.

Applicants must have access to reliable transportation, specifically either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of towing a trailer, as the job requires transporting equipment and supplies between assigned local apartment communities. Long-distance driving is not part of the role; rather, it offers a local work setting that enables technicians to maintain a routine and reduce commute times. The work is outdoors and physically active, perfectly suited for individuals who prefer being on the move, using their hands, and seeing tangible results from their efforts each day.

In the role, technicians will be responsible for maintaining dumpster and trash enclosure areas, compacting and organizing waste, handling recycling and compost in accordance with company protocols, sweeping and clearing debris from common areas, and removing pet waste. They also use a mobile app to track work progress, confirm task completion, and maintain communication. This blend of manual work, outdoor activity, and technology utilization provides a dynamic and engaging experience. Valet Living supports safety by providing proper equipment, clear procedures, and the necessary supplies, ensuring technicians have what they need to perform their duties effectively and securely.

This field service role values independence and responsibility, as technicians often work alone maintaining multiple apartment properties. The job encourages physical activity, walking properties extensively, and overall helping communities to stay safe, clean, and visually appealing to residents and visitors alike. Valet Living offers prompt pay via DailyPay, and a swift hiring process to get new team members onboard quickly. The company also fosters opportunities for growth, with the potential to advance into leadership or management positions. Referral bonuses add to the selection of benefits, rewarding employees who successfully bring others to join the team.

Overall, this job is ideal for motivated individuals seeking part-time work that is meaningful, secure, and flexible. Valet Living’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity makes it a welcoming place for people from all backgrounds to contribute their skills, earn consistent income, and become part of a team dedicated to improving apartment living experiences.
