We are currently seeking a part-time Concierge to join our Branch Services business unit. This position offers an hourly wage of $18.00 plus eligibility for a bilingual stipend. As a Concierge at Anythink, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the patron experience. You are the friendly face greeting visitors as they step into our library, offering warm welcomes and reliable assistance. Your role blends customer service, technology support, and product promotion, making you an essential liaison between the library’s resources and its community. From assisting customers in navigating our collections and using self-checkout machines, to troubleshooting basic computer and copy center functions and recommending books, movies, and music, you will enrich our patrons' experience through meaningful interactions.

In addition to welcoming and supporting visitors, you will ensure that the library environment is clean, organized, and inviting. You’ll manage the experience zones, maintaining interactive displays and technology, and help coordinate library opening and closing procedures. Your role extends beyond the front desk as you answer phones, reserve meeting rooms, manage cash transactions, and assist in various programs and events. Your capacity to quickly understand customer needs and connect them with the right resources or staff members will be crucial.

As a Concierge, you embody the spirit of collaboration and continuous learning. You will actively participate in district committees, share ideas to improve services, and embrace professional development opportunities. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet and moving frequently, performing tasks that include lifting, pushing, and pulling.
