Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in culinary field focused on high volume production
  • Culinary education degree or equivalent for less experienced candidates
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and handle difficult situations
  • Passion for culinary and guest service
  • Must understand and demonstrate knife skills
  • Positive and friendly attitude towards guests and cast members
  • Ability to deliver excellent guest service and appropriate service recovery
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Food safety certification required
  • Ability to operate kitchen technology
  • Flexible to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the culinary field with a focus on high volume production
  • Culinary education degree or equivalent experience if less than 2 years
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create, read, and understand recipes
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Food safety certification or equivalent
  • Ability to work with kitchen technology systems such as plate costing, CAFÉ system, KDS, and Workbrain
  • Passion for culinary arts and guest satisfaction
  • Exhibits positive and helpful attitude

Job Duties

  • Create and prepare high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead and train kitchen staff with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met consistently
  • Troubleshoot kitchen issues calmly and effectively
  • Collaborate with team members to develop innovative culinary concepts
  • Deliver excellent guest service and handle service recovery appropriately
