Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 2 years experience in culinary field focused on high volume production
- Culinary education degree or equivalent for less experienced candidates
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and handle difficult situations
- Passion for culinary and guest service
- Must understand and demonstrate knife skills
- Positive and friendly attitude towards guests and cast members
- Ability to deliver excellent guest service and appropriate service recovery
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Food safety certification required
- Ability to operate kitchen technology
- Flexible to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the culinary field with a focus on high volume production
- Culinary education degree or equivalent experience if less than 2 years
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create, read, and understand recipes
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Food safety certification or equivalent
- Ability to work with kitchen technology systems such as plate costing, CAFÉ system, KDS, and Workbrain
- Passion for culinary arts and guest satisfaction
- Exhibits positive and helpful attitude
Job Duties
- Create and prepare high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Lead and train kitchen staff with strong communication and organizational skills
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met consistently
- Troubleshoot kitchen issues calmly and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative culinary concepts
- Deliver excellent guest service and handle service recovery appropriately
