The Recreation Center Front Desk Receptionist/Office Specialist I (Grade F) is a full-time role that serves as a frontline ambassador for the Wasatch County Parks & Recreation facilities. This position is primarily responsible for performing customer service duties associated with patron use of the recreation center. The ideal candidate will work mainly afternoon and evening shifts and must be flexible to cover various shifts as needed by the department. This role requires a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced recreational environment. The receptionist/office specialist acts as the primary point of contact for visitors, providing assistance, information, and guidance to ensure an outstanding experience at the recreation center. Duties include handling reservations, answering inquiries, processing payments, maintaining records, and supporting daily administrative tasks. This position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of the community's wellness and leisure activities by facilitating smooth operational flow and promoting positive patron interactions. Candidates should exhibit reliability, a service-oriented attitude, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team within a government-run recreational setting.
