Legends Global is a premier leader in venue management and live event production, managing an extensive portfolio of more than 400 arenas, stadiums, convention and exhibition centers, and performing arts venues worldwide. With their headquarters based in Jacksonville, Florida, Legends Global is recognized for delivering exceptional experiences by integrating a comprehensive data-driven approach across planning, sales, partnerships, hospitality, and merchandise sectors. The company's commitment to innovation and inclusiveness fosters a culture where diversity drives creative solutions, ultimately benefiting its team members, guests, and partners. Their workplace environment, guided by core values such as respect, integrity, and accountability, inspires employees to succeed and be part of a transformational journey within the live entertainment industry.
The position available is for a Parking Vault Cashier within the Parking Department at Legends Global, operating part-time on an hourly non-exempt status. This role is critical in maintaining the financial accuracy and integrity of parking revenue at venues such as the Jacksonville Sports Complex and Prime Osborn Convention Center. The Parking Vault Cashier is responsible for securely handling, processing, and reconciling all parking revenue collected from various sources such as cashiers, pay stations, and automated systems to ensure proper accountability and compliance with company procedures. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills given the volume and importance of revenue handled.
The ideal candidate for this position will be adept at managing inventory, controlling the issuance and return of parking passes, and preparing cashier settlements post-events. The position also requires effective communication with parking cashiers and shift supervisors, along with regular reporting to the Parking Manager on Duty (MOD). Throughout event operations, the Parking Vault Cashier is tasked with monitoring handheld devices and resolving any issues such as connectivity problems or scanning failures to ensure smooth transactions.
As part of the team, the Parking Vault Cashier will need to have a thorough understanding of company policies, event cash requirements, and the ability to manage competing demands within a dynamic environment prone to frequent changes and unexpected events. Additionally, the candidate is expected to uphold a positive client relationship and contribute to the overall success of the team's mission to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
This role requires proficiency with basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with the ability to perform fundamental mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The position requires completion of Alcohol Compliance Training and the successful passing of a background check including credit history. Experience in customer service for at least one year is a prerequisite, ensuring the candidate is well-prepared to handle the interpersonal demands of the role.
Legends Global promotes an inclusive environment and encourages applications from women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans. The company provides reasonable accommodations for applicants who need assistance during the application process. Joining Legends Global as a Parking Vault Cashier offers a unique opportunity to be part of an industry leader that is passionate about revolutionizing live entertainment through excellence and innovation.
