The Parking Attendant will greet guests and visitors, assisting them in entering and exiting the hotel smoothly while managing the traffic flow of personal and commercial vehicles including guest cars, taxis, limousines, and buses to ensure all vehicles are legally parked and the traffic remains efficient and safe. This role also involves providing guests with information about hotel amenities, services, operating hours, and local area highlights, contributing significantly to the guest’s overall experience.

Safety and security are paramount; therefore, the attendant is responsible for monitoring the parking areas, reporting any safety risks or vehicle issues to management, maintaining vehicle and key security, and communicating clearly with guests about parking procedures. This role demands a friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to anticipate guest needs and respond proactively, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Clear, professional communication is essential, whether interacting with guests, answering phones, or collaborating with the team. Job Duties

  • Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and exiting the hotel
  • Control and direct traffic of personal and commercial vehicles including guest cars, taxis, limousines, and buses to ensure legal parking and smooth traffic flow
  • Provide directions and information to guests about hotel amenities, services, service hours, and local points of interest
  • Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas
  • Report any vehicle risks or security issues to management
  • Secure vehicles and their keys
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager
  • Participate in safety training and obtain certifications
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect company property
  • Greet guests according to company standards
