Job Description

Marriott International is a leading global hospitality company renowned for its exceptional service standards and commitment to guest satisfaction. As a multinational company operating thousands of hotels worldwide, Marriott has established itself as a pioneer in the hotel and lodging industry. Among its various prestigious brands, Westin Hotels & Resorts stand out for their focus on wellness and guest well-being. Westin is dedicated to empowering guests to regain control and enhance their well-being during their travels, offering unique wellness programs designed to help guests be the best version of themselves. The company fosters a work environment that supports associates in embracing their own well-being both on and off property. At Westin, being part of the team means being passionate, active, optimistic, and adventurous. Associates are encouraged to bring the brand's mission to life by delivering outstanding guest experiences with a focus on wellness and comfort. The team values a supportive culture where employees are empowered to perform their best work, find their purpose, belong to a global team, and grow personally and professionally.

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic hospitality environments and are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. The role involves welcoming guests and assisting visitors with entering and leaving the property efficiently and safely. It requires monitoring and directing traffic on the premises, including personal and commercial vehicles such as guest cars, taxis, limousines, and buses. Ensuring vehicles are legally parked and maintaining smooth traffic flow are key responsibilities. Additionally, the role includes providing guests with directions and information about property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local attractions. The position also entails monitoring the safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas, reporting any hazards or unauthorized activities to management, and maintaining the security of vehicles and keys. Employees must adhere to all company policies and procedures, report any accidents or unsafe conditions, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.

The position demands excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to anticipate and address guests' service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Teamwork and collaboration are pivotal, as associates work together to achieve common goals and meet quality assurance standards. Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and handling light physical tasks such as lifting or moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds. The company offers health care benefits, retirement plans, paid time off and sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other wellness-related benefits, promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle for associates. This role requires a valid driver’s license but does not demand prior work or supervisory experience, making it an excellent entry point for individuals eager to start a career in the hospitality industry. Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds and ensuring non-discrimination in the workplace.
