This part-time, non-management position offers an hourly pay rate ranging from $16.22 to $20.28 and is tip-eligible. The role focuses on Rooms and Guest Services Operations within the busy and dynamic environment of the Sheraton Waikiki. The position is designed to serve as a crucial point of contact for guests and visitors upon their arrival and departure, while also ensuring smooth and secure vehicle traffic flow within the hotel premises.
As a vital member of the Sheraton Waikiki team, this role involves welcoming guests warmly and assisting them with various hotel services, including providing information about amenities, services, service hours, and local points of interest. Candidates will manage and direct the movement of personal and commercial vehicles such as guest cars, taxis, limousines, and buses to ensure proper and legal parking, facilitating efficient traffic flow that enhances the overall guest experience.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining the safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas, monitoring for risks to vehicles or security concerns, and promptly reporting any incidents to supervisors. The role demands a strong commitment to company policies and procedures, confidentiality in handling proprietary information, and protecting company assets. Exceptional communication skills are required for engaging with guests, visitors, and team members in a clear, professional, and courteous manner. Candidates will also support persons with disabilities, answer phones professionally, and contribute collaboratively to team goals.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and handling objects up to 10 pounds. The job occasionally involves other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors. This role does not require prior supervisory experience or related work experience, but a valid driver's license is mandatory.

Job Duties
- Greet and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the hotel
- Control and direct the flow of personal and commercial vehicles within the hotel, including guest cars, taxis, limousines, and buses to ensure legal parking and smooth traffic flow
- Provide directions and information to guests regarding hotel amenities, services, service hours, and local points of interest
- Monitor and maintain the safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas and levels, reporting any risks or security concerns to the manager or supervisor
- Safeguard vehicles and their keys
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions, complete safety training and certifications, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
- Receive and recognize all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and attend to their service needs, express genuine appreciation, assist persons with disabilities, communicate clearly and professionally with others, answer phones using proper protocol, cultivate positive working relationships, support team objectives, adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, move, lift, transport, push, pull, and position objects up to 10 pounds unassisted, execute other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
