Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the hotel
  • Control and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on the hotel property including guest vehicles, taxis, limousines, and buses to ensure legal parking and maintain smooth and efficient traffic flow
  • Provide directions and information to guests about hotel amenities, services, operating hours, and local points of interest
  • Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas and levels
  • Report to management any risks to vehicles or security issues
  • Keep vehicles and their keys secure
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
  • Participate in safety training and obtain certifications
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company property
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate guests' service needs and respond accordingly
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Assist persons with disabilities
  • Use clear and professional language when communicating
  • Answer telephones following proper protocol
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships
  • Support the team to achieve common goals
  • Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
