Job Description
Reimagined Parking is a leading parking management company dedicated to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Based in various prime locations including Disney Springs Garages (Orange, Lime, Grapefruit), Reimagined Parking focuses on creating safe, efficient, and guest-friendly parking experiences. The company thrives on prioritizing its teams, promoting a positive workplace culture, and relentlessly pursuing superior service standards. With a commitment to both guest satisfaction and employee wellness, Reimagined Parking offers opportunities for growth and stability within the parking industry.
The Parking Ambassador (GSP) role at Reimagined Parking is an integral position that combines customer service with safety and operational support. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $16 with shifts scheduled from 3:15 pm to 12 am Sunday through Thursday and 3:45 pm to 12:30 am Friday and Saturday, with shift days varying and including weekends. In this role, the Parking Ambassador serves as the welcoming face for guests arriving and departing the Disney Springs parking garages. Beyond greeting guests with courtesy and professionalism, the ambassador provides assistance with parking-related inquiries, directions, and help with parking policies and pay machine operations.
Safety is a core element of this position. The ambassador supports traffic flow by directing vehicle and pedestrian movement to ensure safe and efficient parking operations. Part of the duties includes performing mobile patrols throughout parking facilities using company vehicles, observing for safety hazards, fire risks, suspicious activities, and equipment issues. While this role involves limited security functions such as incident observation and reporting, it explicitly excludes enforcement, physical intervention, or law enforcement duties.
Operational awareness is essential as the Parking Ambassador conducts vehicle counts to monitor parking capacity and helps with minor equipment troubleshooting and upkeep. Regular rounds within garages and surrounding parking areas enable vigilant monitoring of facility conditions, promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns. Communication is crucial as the ambassador interacts respectfully and clearly with guests, coworkers, and management, escalating concerns as necessary.
This position demands strong interpersonal and customer service skills combined with the ability to observe, document, and report incidents accurately. Prior experience in customer service, parking, hospitality, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Physical stamina is necessary since the role involves standing and walking for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions including heat, cold, or inclement weather. The company values consistency and reliability given the repetitive tasks essential for smooth daily operations.
Overall, Reimagined Parking’s Parking Ambassador role is perfect for individuals who enjoy active customer engagement, take pride in safety and operational excellence, and want to be part of a dedicated team that values positive culture and growth. Additional benefits include comprehensive health plans, generous paid time off, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, employee assistance programs, and parental and caregiver leave for full-time employees. Part-time employees also have access to a 401(k) plan, sick time off, and employee assistance programs, with union protections applying where relevant.
