Job Description

The Parking Spot has been a trusted name in near-airport parking for over 25 years, steadily growing to become the largest company of its kind in the United States. With more than 2,000 dedicated team members operating across over 40 locations nationwide, The Parking Spot prides itself on delivering exceptional parking experiences for travelers. The company commits to maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence, which has made it a preferred choice for many customers seeking convenient and reliable airport parking solutions. The Parking Spot stands out not only for its extensive network and quality service but also for its unique Employee Ownership Program. This program empowers every team member by giving them a direct financial stake in the company’s success, fostering a culture of ownership, pride, and shared accomplishment among employees.

The role of a Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) is critical to The Parking Spot’s operational success and overall customer satisfaction. As a Parking Guest Attendant, you will be the face of the company during check-in and check-out processes, providing unparalleled service to guests who rely on The Parking Spot for their parking needs. The position is full-time during afternoon and evening shifts and offers a competitive hourly wage of $15, plus regular bonus opportunities. Beyond the competitive pay, Parking Guest Attendants gain immediate conditional offers if they are standout candidates, alongside consistent schedules that make work-life balance manageable.

In this role, you will welcome customers with warmth and professionalism, assisting them efficiently and courteously as they enter and exit the parking facilities. It requires a strong sense of teamwork, as you will collaborate with other team members to ensure the best guest experience possible. Technological aptitude is important, as the role involves operating Apple technology products like iPhones and iPads and adapting quickly to kiosk systems and any technology upgrades. Attention to detail and cleanliness is also a must, ensuring that all work areas maintain the high standards expected by the company and its valued guests.

This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for most shifts and safely lift up to 30 pounds, as well as resilience in accommodating inclement weather conditions. The Parking Spot values clear communication skills, particularly in English, to maintain safety and efficiency in guest interactions. Additionally, the opportunity to cross-train in other frontline positions offers professional growth and versatility within the team. Training and development opportunities are provided to help you enhance your skills and career trajectory within the company.

The company's culture embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Parking Spot celebrates differences among employees, partners, and customers and actively cultivates an environment where all individuals feel welcome, supported, and valued. The company is committed to ongoing learning and growth, actively standing against discrimination and racism. It recognizes the power of uniting individuals from diverse backgrounds to create a stronger, more innovative team and business. As part of The Parking Spot family, you will join a workplace that values dignity and respect, and you will be part of a team that shares a clear commitment to exceptional service and community support.
