This global presence affirms OVG's commitment to shaping the future of live entertainment by delivering seamless, innovative, and memorable experiences to audiences worldwide.
The Parking Lot Attendant role at OVG Lexington is an integral part of ensuring the efficient and safe management of parking facilities at prominent venues such as Rupp Arena, CBC, and Soccer events. As the first and last point of contact for visitors, Parking Lot Attendants are ambassadors of OVG's brand and values, tasked with creating a welcoming and secure environment. The role demands a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage traffic and parking-related duties with precision and courtesy.
This position involves overseeing parking lot safety, directing vehicles efficiently, and assisting patrons with general parking inquiries and accessibility needs. Accountability is paramount as equipment conditions must be closely monitored to ensure operational readiness. In addition, Parking Lot Attendants must remain vigilant for potential safety hazards, enforce parking policies, and maintain clear pedestrian access pathways, especially during high-traffic events and inclement weather.
Beyond traffic and parking management, the role requires participation in setting up and breaking down parking operations surrounding events and responding swiftly and professionally to any incidents or emergencies. The ability to stay calm and adapt in a fast-paced, high-pressure outdoor environment is essential. The position offers an hourly wage of $18.00 and benefits that include participation in a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, even as a part-time role. This highlights OVG's commitment to rewarding and supporting its workforce.
