Job Description

The Parking Spot, with over 25 years of dedicated service, is the largest near-airport parking company in the United States, employing more than 2,000 valued team members across more than 40 locations nationwide. We take immense pride in our Employee Ownership Program, a unique initiative that empowers every team member to have a direct financial stake in the company’s success. This program exemplifies our commitment to fostering a culture of shared responsibility and collective growth. Our mission revolves around providing exceptional and reliable service to our guests, ensuring their parking experience is seamless, convenient, and pleasant. As part of our corporate ethos, we deeply value teamwork, customer focus, and integrity in every aspect of our operations.

The role of a Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) at The Parking Spot is more than just a job; it's a vital function that ensures our guests receive the highest level of service during their check-in and check-out process. PGAs are the frontline ambassadors, representing the welcoming face of our company. This part-time position during afternoon and evening shifts offers a competitive pay rate of $15 per hour, complemented by regular bonus opportunities for eligible team members. PGAs engage directly with guests, providing friendly greetings, smooth transaction processes, and assistance with any parking needs or questions. They operate with a keen focus on safety and efficiency, utilizing technology such as Apple devices and kiosk systems to enhance the guest experience.

In addition to welcoming guests, PGAs handle telephone inquiries and coordinate with other team members to maintain operational excellence and service consistency. Their tasks include ensuring cleanliness and organization of the work area, promoting the company’s loyalty program (TPS Spot Club), and cross-training for other frontline roles as required. The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to work in various weather conditions, stand for the majority of a shift, and safely lift up to 30 pounds, with accommodations available if needed.

Working at The Parking Spot means joining a diverse and inclusive workplace where every employee is valued and respected. We actively celebrate our differences and strive to create an equitable environment where all voices are heard. Our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion underpins every aspect of our company culture. We are proud to stand against racism and discrimination, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both our employees and customers.

Team members at The Parking Spot benefit from more than just financial rewards. They enjoy consistent schedules, comprehensive training, and professional development opportunities designed to support long-term career growth. Eligible employees have access to a robust benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) plans, paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays. Joining The Parking Spot means becoming part of a company that not only values your contribution but also invests in your future and well-being. We invite motivated individuals who share our values of team, people, and service to apply and contribute to our ongoing success.
