Job Description

The Parking Spot is a leading company in the parking industry with over 25 years of experience and more than 2,000 dedicated team members across 40 locations nationwide. As the largest near-airport parking company in the United States, The Parking Spot prides itself on exceptional service, reliability, and community engagement. What sets The Parking Spot apart is its unique Employee Ownership Program, which offers all employees a direct stake in the company’s success, creating a supportive and rewarding work environment. Every team member is valued as an owner, contributing to a collaborative culture focused on outstanding guest experiences.

The role of the Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) is a pivotal frontline position that supports the smooth operation of parking facilities. As a PGA, you will be the face of The Parking Spot, responsible for greeting guests, assisting with vehicle check-ins and check-outs, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires a friendly, professional attitude and a commitment to upholding The Parking Spot’s high standards for guest satisfaction. The work schedule for this on-call role includes all shifts, providing flexibility for team members. The hourly pay rate begins at $12.50 and includes regular bonus opportunities for eligible employees.

Parking Guest Attendants play an essential role in creating a positive first and last impression for guests traveling through the company’s parking locations. They assist guests efficiently and courteously at both entry and exit lanes, answer telephone inquiries, and support customers using mobile devices. PGAs also maintain clean and organized work areas and serve as knowledgeable representatives by informing guests about loyalty programs such as the TPS Spot Club. Moreover, the position offers opportunities for cross-training in other frontline roles, enhancing skills and career development. This role demands adaptability, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and physical readiness to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds safely, with accommodations if needed.

The Parking Spot values diversity, inclusion, and equity in its workforce and actively fosters a respectful and supportive workplace culture. Employees are encouraged to grow and develop professionally through training programs and are offered comprehensive benefits, including medical, vision, dental insurance plans, 401(k) options, paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays, subject to eligibility. Immediate conditional offers may also be extended to standout candidates following interviews, highlighting the company’s commitment to efficient and candidate-friendly hiring practices.

By joining The Parking Spot as a Parking Guest Attendant, you become part of a national leader in airport parking that values community, employee ownership, and superior guest service. This role offers both a fulfilling career opportunity and a chance to contribute meaningfully to travelers’ experiences across the country, all while benefiting from a supportive and engaging work environment.
