Job Description

The Parking Spot is a well-established company with over 25 years of industry experience, recognized as the largest near-airport parking company in the United States. Boasting more than 2,000 dedicated team members across more than 40 locations nationwide, The Parking Spot provides premier parking services to travelers seeking convenient and secure parking options near major airports. The company is unique in its approach by offering an Employee Ownership Program, empowering every team member to have a direct financial stake in its ongoing success. This commitment to ownership culture fosters a highly motivated workforce that delivers exceptional service to guests across the country.

The Parking Spot’s strategy focuses on providing outstanding customer experiences through well-trained and passionate employees. From the moment travelers arrive, they are greeted and assisted with the utmost professionalism and care, which defines The Parking Spot's service philosophy. This approach contributes significantly to the company’s growth and positive reputation in a competitive parking and travel services market.

The role of Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) is a vital frontline position within this dynamic environment. PGAs serve as the welcoming face of The Parking Spot, engaging directly with guests during the check-in and check-out processes. These team members ensure smooth and efficient service, making guests feel valued and supported throughout their parking experience. PGAs assist by providing clear information about The Parking Spot’s services, managing entry and exit lanes with promptness, and answering customer inquiries over the phone or in person.

Particularly, this part-time role is designed to accommodate various shifts, underscoring the company’s commitment to flexible work arrangements. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $16.40 per hour, along with regular bonus opportunities that reward outstanding performance. Eligible employees can also benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) plans, paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays, promoting work-life balance and financial security.

Parking Guest Attendants are expected to uphold The Parking Spot's core values centered on teamwork, customer service, and respect. Beyond guest interaction, PGAs also maintain cleanliness and order in their work areas, support cross-training initiatives for expanded skills, and take on additional tasks as directed by management. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and are eager to grow professionally within a supportive company culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion.

The Parking Spot prides itself on fostering a workplace where diversity, equity, and inclusion are actively promoted. The company stands firmly against discrimination and racism, ensuring that employees and customers alike are treated with dignity and respect. It is a company that listens, learns, and adapts, dedicated to creating an equitable environment where all voices are heard and valued. This progressive outlook, combined with its status as a leader in travel-related parking services, positions The Parking Spot as an employer of choice for those seeking a meaningful career in the customer service and transportation industry.
