The Parking Spot is a well-established company with over 25 years of experience in the parking service industry. Recognized as the largest near-airport parking company in the United States, The Parking Spot operates more than 40 locations nationwide and employs over 2,000 dedicated team members. The company takes pride in its Employee Ownership Program, which provides every team member the opportunity to have a direct financial stake in the success of the business. This program fosters a strong sense of ownership, encourages commitment, and motivates employees to provide exceptional service to guests across the country. The organization values its team, people, and high level of service, which are evident in its continuous growth and excellent reputation in the parking industry.
The role of Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) is essential to the daily operations and overall guest experience at The Parking Spot. PGAs are frontline ambassadors who welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring that every visitor receives courteous and efficient service. This full-time position involves working various shifts, allowing the company to maintain consistent schedules for employees. At a competitive pay rate of $17 per hour, this role is both rewarding and impactful.
Parking Guest Attendants play a critical role in providing prompt and pleasant assistance to guests at exit and entry lanes, answering telephones, and helping customers with mobile devices used for services. They contribute to fostering a team-oriented environment by partnering with other employees to deliver the best possible guest experience. Additionally, PGAs are responsible for maintaining work areas in a neat and orderly condition, further representing the company’s commitment to professionalism and quality service.
This position also offers an opportunity to engage with The Parking Spot’s loyalty program by informing guests about the TPS Spot Club, enhancing customer engagement and retention. PGAs may cross-train for other frontline roles, enabling them to develop new skills and expand their contribution to the company. The Parking Spot values continuous professional growth and offers training and development opportunities to support career advancement for its employees.
Successful candidates typically possess a high school diploma or equivalent, alongside a preference for previous customer service experience. The job requires clear verbal communication skills in English, comfort with Apple technology products like iPhones and iPads, and the ability to adapt to technology upgrades. PGAs must be physically able to work in inclement weather, stand for extended periods, and safely lift up to 30 pounds, with accommodations available if necessary.
The Parking Spot is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment where all employees, partners, and customers feel welcomed and valued. The company actively promotes dignity and respect in the workplace and stands firmly against discrimination of any kind. They believe in developing diverse teams and relationships to ensure that all voices are heard, creating equal opportunities for everyone. This cultural commitment is an integral part of The Parking Spot’s identity and operational philosophy, making it a great place to work for individuals who share these values.
