Job Description
The Parking Spot has established itself as a prominent leader in the near-airport parking industry across the United States, boasting more than 25 years of operational excellence. With over 2,000 dedicated team members and a presence in over 40 locations nationwide, it is the largest company specializing in convenient airport parking solutions. The company's strong commitment to its employees is reflected in its Employee Ownership Program, offering every team member a direct financial stake in the ongoing success and growth of The Parking Spot. This program empowers employees to take pride in their work and contribute to an exceptional customer experience at every location they serve.
As a part of The Parking Spot team, those who join as Parking Guest Attendants (PGAs) serve a vital function in delivering top-tier customer service during the guests' parking experience. Acting as the first point of contact, PGAs warmly welcome and assist guests, making the check-in and check-out processes smooth, efficient, and pleasant. These frontline employees handle various responsibilities such as greeting guests, managing entry and exit lanes, providing information on loyalty programs, and supporting customers via telephone and mobile devices. Their role extends beyond guest interaction to maintaining cleanliness in their work areas and potentially cross-training for other frontline duties as assigned by management. This position is designed for flexible, on-call schedules across all shifts and offers a competitive pay rate of $12.50 per hour with regular bonus opportunities.
Parking Guest Attendants at The Parking Spot benefit from a work environment emphasizing teamwork, respect, and continuous professional growth. The company emphasizes the importance of diversity, inclusion, and equity, striving to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all employees and customers alike. Employees are encouraged to adapt to evolving technology, including using Apple devices like iPhones and iPads as well as kiosk systems, fostering a modern and efficient service delivery process.
Beyond competitive wages, The Parking Spot offers comprehensive benefits to eligible employees, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays. Consistent scheduling and immediate job offers for standout candidates further demonstrate the company's commitment to a positive and responsive hiring process. With ample opportunities for training and professional development, PGAs can build valuable skills that enhance both their current performance and future career prospects.
Joining The Parking Spot means becoming a part of a company that not only values high-quality service to guests but also invests significantly in its employees' success and well-being. Employees at The Parking Spot take pride in belonging to a diverse and inclusive community where every voice is heard and where respect for each individual forms the foundation of the workplace culture. This comprehensive approach to employee engagement and guest satisfaction positions The Parking Spot as an exemplary employer within the parking and travel industry.
