The role of a Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) at The Parking Spot is a critical frontline position focused on delivering the highest level of customer service during guests check-in and check-out processes. As the face of the company, PGAs greet and assist guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience. Responsibilities include managing entry and exit lanes, responding to guest inquiries via telephone and mobile devices, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and promoting loyalty programs. These attendants often collaborate closely with team members and may participate in cross-training for other frontline duties as needed. The position requires adaptability to technology, including usage of kiosks and Apple devices such as iPhones and iPads, and demands the physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 30 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • high school education or equivalent
  • previous customer service experience preferred
  • ability to verbally communicate clearly in the English language for safety purposes
  • ability to operate Apple technology products including iPhone and iPad tablets
  • comfortable using kiosk system and adapt to technology upgrades and changes
  • ability to work in inclement weather
  • ability to stand for most of the shift and safely lift up to 30 pounds with or without an accommodation

Job Duties

  • welcome and greet each guest in a friendly and professional manner
  • provide quick and pleasant assistance supporting guests at exit and entry lanes
  • answer telephones and assist customers using mobile devices while using our services
  • partner with all team members to provide the best guest experience
  • keep all Parking Guest Attendant work areas neat and clean
  • provide guests with information on the TPS Spot Club program
  • may cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
  • perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management
