Job Description
The Parking Spot is a well-established parking company that has been in operation for over 25 years, growing to become the largest near-airport parking provider in the United States. With over 2,000 dedicated team members across more than 40 locations nationwide, The Parking Spot prides itself on delivering exceptional parking services to travelers all over the country. As part of its unique company culture, The Parking Spot offers an Employee Ownership Program, allowing all team members to gain a direct financial stake in the company’s success. This sense of ownership fosters a team-oriented environment where every employee plays a vital role in enhancing customer experiences.
The Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) position is a crucial front-line role within the company’s operations, serving as the first point of contact for guests during their check-in and check-out processes. This part-time role is available for all shifts and pays $16.40 per hour, with regular bonus opportunities to reward outstanding performance. As a PGA, you will be responsible for greeting guests warmly and professionally, assisting them promptly at entry and exit points, and providing essential information about The Parking Spot’s services and loyalty programs.
Working as a PGA not only involves guest interaction but also includes various operational tasks like maintaining clean work areas and occasionally cross-training in other frontline roles as needed by management. The position requires excellent communication skills, basic technical proficiency with Apple devices such as iPhones and iPads, and the ability to adapt to new technology quickly. Physical stamina is also necessary since the job requires standing for most of the shift and lifting up to 30 pounds safely, even in inclement weather conditions.
The Parking Spot values diversity, equity, and inclusion, actively creating a welcoming workplace that supports employees from all backgrounds. This commitment manifests in ongoing efforts to foster a respectful, inclusive company culture that champions equal opportunity for all. The company also offers competitive benefits, including medical, vision, dental, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays for eligible employees. Regular training and professional development opportunities are also available to support career growth within the organization.
In summary, joining The Parking Spot as a Parking Guest Attendant means becoming part of an employee-owned company that prioritizes service excellence, team collaboration, and a supportive work environment. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with people, and are looking for a flexible, rewarding part-time job with the potential for bonuses and benefits, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow with a national leader in near-airport parking services.
