Job Description
The Parking Spot is a leading company in the parking industry, proudly recognized as the largest near-airport parking company in the United States. With over 25 years in business, The Parking Spot has expanded its operations nationwide, employing more than 2,000 dedicated team members across more than 40 locations. The company stands out due to its Employee Ownership Program, which allows every team member to gain a direct financial stake in the success of the enterprise. This innovative program fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, and shared achievement, ensuring that every employee contributes to providing exceptional service to guests nationwide. The Parking Spot is not just a parking service provider; it is a community focused on fostering an inclusive work environment that celebrates diversity and promotes equity.
As a full-time Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) working the afternoon shift, you will be a vital part of The Parking Spot’s operational success. This role offers a competitive pay rate starting at $12.50 per hour with regular bonus opportunities, emphasizing a commitment to rewarding outstanding performance. The primary responsibility of the PGA is to deliver the highest level of customer service during the guest check-in and check-out processes. This position plays a crucial role in representing the company’s values and building lasting relationships with guests by providing friendly, efficient, and professional assistance. In addition, this role involves supporting guests with technology, answering questions, and helping navigate the parking process.
PGAs must be adaptable and willing to integrate technology into their daily tasks, including utilizing Apple products such as iPhones and iPads, and efficiently handling kiosks. The ability to operate under varying weather conditions and to maintain a high energy level throughout the shift by standing and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds is essential. The Parking Spot ensures that the work environment is safe and supportive, providing opportunities for professional growth through comprehensive training and development programs.
Furthermore, The Parking Spot is dedicated to fostering a workplace culture where every employee feels valued and respected. The company openly embraces diversity and inclusion, promoting a respectful and equitable work atmosphere. PGAs are expected to uphold these values by treating guests and coworkers with dignity and respect. This role not only supports guests during their parking experience but also actively contributes to maintaining a clean and organized environment, supporting team members across different locations, and possibly cross-training for other frontline responsibilities.
By joining The Parking Spot as a Parking Guest Attendant, you are not just taking a job; you are becoming part of a movement toward creating exceptional guest experiences backed by employee ownership and a commitment to diversity. Success in this role is measured not just in operational efficiency, but in the ability to deliver outstanding guest service reflective of the company’s core values and dedication to community and excellence.
