Job Description

The Parking Spot is the largest near-airport parking company in the United States, proudly operating for over 25 years and serving customers nationwide through more than 40 locations. With a devoted team of over 2,000 employees, the company has established itself as a leader in providing convenient, secure, and customer-focused parking solutions near airports. The Parking Spot is not just a parking service provider but also an employee-owned company, offering an Employee Ownership Program that allows team members to have a direct financial stake in the success and growth of the business. This employee ownership model promotes a strong, collaborative culture where every individual contributes to delivering exceptional guest experiences across all locations.

The Parking Guest Attendant (PGA) role is a critical frontline position that embodies the company's dedication to hospitality, service excellence, and safety. PGAs are the first point of contact for many guests, welcoming and assisting them throughout the check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and warmth. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with technology such as kiosks and mobile devices, facilitating efficient and pleasant service every time guests arrive or depart. Given the nature of the business, PGAs must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and able to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.

The role offers a pay rate of $18 per hour and operates on a standby or on-call basis, meaning that work hours are not guaranteed and schedules vary based on business needs. This flexibility can accommodate individuals seeking part-time or variable work schedules while still engaging in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. PGAs also enjoy the benefits of the company’s shared employee ownership program, 401(k) plans for eligible team members, and opportunities for training and professional development to advance their skills and career within the company.

In addition to providing excellent guest service, PGAs are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of their work areas, assisting customers using technology, and collaborating with team members to ensure a seamless parking experience. This position also offers the chance to cross-train in other frontline roles, encouraging personal growth and versatility within the team. The Parking Spot emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a respectful and supportive work environment where all employees are valued and empowered to succeed. Individuals who are enthusiastic about delivering outstanding customer service, adaptable to varied work settings, and eager to contribute to a dynamic, employee-owned company are encouraged to apply for the Parking Guest Attendant position.
