This role requires a hands-on approach to the upkeep and repair of parking equipment and infrastructure, including parking meters, pay stations, signage, and roadway markings. The technician plays a key role in ensuring that the university's parking facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming to all who use them. The position involves working in various weather conditions and requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and traffic control devices is essential, as the role includes implementing traffic control measures to maintain safe and orderly parking and roadway environments. This job offers a dynamic working environment where adaptability, teamwork, and technical skills are valued and cultivated.

Joining PATS means becoming part of a team that directly contributes to the campus's operational success and community well-being. Employees in this department enjoy a collaborative workplace culture where safety and excellence are prioritized. Those who apply can expect to engage in meaningful work that supports the broader university mission, with ample opportunities to develop skills relevant to facility maintenance, construction, and equipment repair within a unique outdoor setting.
