The role of a parking enforcement officer at Towne Park is integral to ensuring the smooth functioning and security of parking lots under the company's management. This position involves a blend of customer service, facility maintenance, and enforcement duties to uphold parking regulations and policies. Parking enforcement officers are responsible for patrolling parking areas to monitor for unauthorized vehicles, issuing citations based on preapproved guidelines, and managing signage and maintenance tasks. They play a critical role in maintaining lot cleanliness and addressing any operational issues such as troubleshooting parking meters or equipment. Additionally, officers must prepare accurate reports and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to parking and traffic enforcement. Seasonal duties such as snow removal and lot salting may also be required to ensure safety and accessibility in adverse weather conditions.
In this role, candidates will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, as they interact regularly with guests, clients, co-workers, and parkers. The ability to maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times is essential. Furthermore, candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds, and have the stamina to stand or be active for extended periods under varying weather conditions. The position requires vigilance, sound judgment, and the ability to exercise discretion while making routine decisions according to established guidelines and policies. Towne Park values team members who can work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining adherence to company standards and operational procedures. This job offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking entry-level experience in enforcement, customer service, and facility maintenance with an organization known for its commitment to employee development and workplace safety.
