This unique setting combines natural beauty with cultural enrichment, making it a coveted summer destination for those fortunate enough to visit. The club hosts special events such as the Spring Jinks and the Summer Encampment, attracting a community of artists, performers, and sophisticated guests from diverse backgrounds.
Working at the Bohemian Grove offers a remarkable opportunity to be part of this distinctive and culturally rich experience. The club is currently seeking Valet Parking staff for its summer operations, providing an exciting opportunity to work in a one-of-a-kind environment surrounded by majestic redwoods and engaged members. This position is seasonal, with flexible schedules and excellent hourly wages to accommodate summer-only commitments. The role involves the safe and organized parking of member and guest vehicles, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures with professionalism and attentiveness. Valet staff will play a crucial role in creating the first and last impressions for guests, representing the club’s high standards through courteous and efficient service.
Valet team members must demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, possess a friendly professional demeanor, and meet specific requirements regarding driving skills and physical capabilities. Uniform guidelines and policies emphasize a clean and neat appearance, which reflects the club’s dedication to maintaining an elegant atmosphere. In addition to handling vehicles safely, valets must be prepared to work varying schedules to meet the club’s business needs. The position requires at least 17 years of age, a current U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background investigation and comply with the Bohemian Club Drug Policy.
This role is vital in supporting the overall guest experience at the Bohemian Grove, ensuring convenience and satisfaction from the moment guests arrive until their departure. Employees will receive thorough training and must adhere to all club regulations to maintain safety and operational excellence within the organization. The Bohemian Club prides itself on equal employment opportunities and fosters an inclusive workplace free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status. Joining the valet team at the Bohemian Grove enables summer employment in a prestigious and culturally significant setting, offering personal and professional growth while being part of a tradition that has thrived for more than a century.
