Job Description

Legacy Parking is a rapidly growing Parking Management Company dedicated to providing efficient, safe, and friendly parking services in urban environments. With a strong presence in the downtown Miami area, Legacy Parking has built a reputation for exceptional customer service and high operational standards in the parking industry. Our company emphasizes a supportive workplace culture, keen attention to safety, and commitment to maintaining clean, well-organized parking facilities that enhance the overall visitor experience. As a forward-thinking and dynamic organization, Legacy Parking continuously invests in its team members to ensure career growth and a thriving work environment.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Attendant/Porter to join our team in downtown Miami. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced outdoor environments and enjoy interacting with people. As an integral part of our operations, the Attendant/Porter is responsible for managing vehicle flow, assisting guests with parking needs, ensuring pedestrian safety, and maintaining cleanliness within the parking garage. The position demands a combination of excellent customer service skills and hands-on maintenance duties to uphold the facility’s appearance and safety standards.

In this role, the Attendant/Porter will be at the forefront of daily operations, directing traffic at garage entrances and exits, providing guidance to drivers to help them find available parking spaces, and closely monitoring garage capacity to avoid congestion. The individual will also play a key role in supporting pedestrian safety by keeping primary walkways and crosswalks clear and safe. Additionally, prompt communication with team members and supervisors regarding any operational issues or required assistance is essential to maintain smooth operations throughout the shift.

On the maintenance side, the Attendant/Porter ensures that the parking garage and its common areas remain clean and orderly by sweeping floors, stairwells, and other high-traffic zones. The role also involves emptying trash receptacles and properly disposing of waste regularly. Identifying and reporting any damage, safety hazards, or maintenance problems to supervisors is crucial to preserving a safe environment for both guests and staff. Restocking cleaning supplies and other essential materials falls within the maintenance duties, enabling the facility to remain well-equipped and prepared for daily operational demands.

Successful candidates are expected to be physically capable of standing and walking outdoors for the entire duration of their shifts, maintain composure and professionalism during busy or stressful situations, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Punctuality, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude are highly valued traits for this position. While prior experience in parking or traffic control is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged as it provides a valuable foundation for excelling in this role.

Joining Legacy Parking means becoming part of a progressive company that values hard work, collaboration, and customer satisfaction. If you are looking for a rewarding role where no two days are the same and you have the passion to contribute positively to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for the Attendant/Porter position in downtown Miami today.
