The role of Parking Attendant at Legends Global is a part-time, on-call position based at the Broward County Convention Center. Reporting directly to the Parking Coordinator or Parking Manager, the Parking Attendant plays a critical part in ensuring smooth and efficient parking operations at this prominent venue. This role requires managing parking payments, assisting guests with pay stations, directing vehicle flow, and maintaining overall garage operations. The attendant also acts as a liaison between the facility and its clients, guaranteeing that client needs are met while strictly following all facility regulations and policies. Ideal candidates for this position must be proactive, personable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to customer service. Availability for working irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential due to the event-driven nature of this job. The role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities such as handling parking equipment, reporting operational issues, and supporting event parking logistics. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- minimum of one year of customer service experience
- availability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform manual tasks
- able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- hearing sufficient to hear voices, alarms, bells, and horns
- ability to move quickly between different venue areas
- able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- good eye-hand-foot coordination and dexterity to operate basic tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year of customer service experience
- experience using payment devices and pay stations is a plus
- experience in convention centers, hotels, or similar settings is a plus
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Process credit card and electronic parking transactions accurately and efficiently
- assist guests with parking pay stations, gates, and parking access equipment as needed
- direct and manage vehicle traffic entering, exiting, and circulating within parking facilities to ensure safe and efficient flow
- support event parking operations during high-volume events
- monitor parking areas for safety, operational concerns, and unauthorized activity, and report issues to supervisors as necessary
- set up and remove parking cones, barricades, signage, and designated parking areas as directed
- provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons, answering questions, and resolving basic concerns professionally
- complete required reports and documentation related to parking transactions, equipment issues, and daily activity
- maintain and properly use supplies, tools, equipment, and parking technology required to perform job duties
- follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
- assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization within the parking garage and surrounding area
- other duties as assigned
