The Parking Attendant role at SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH, represents an integral part of the venue’s security team. Reporting directly to the Security Manager, this part-time, hourly, non-exempt position is essential for ensuring the safety and efficiency of event parking operations. The role demands attentiveness, strong communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset as Parking Attendants direct vehicle traffic, assist guests with parking needs, and help maintain order in the arena’s parking lots before, during, and after events. Attendants are responsible for managing the flow of vehicles entering and exiting the parking areas, providing clear directions to guests for parking passes, lot access, arena entrances, accessible parking zones, and rideshare areas. Additionally, the role involves monitoring parking areas for safety hazards or unauthorized activities, setting up and removing parking cones, barricades, and signage, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the parking grounds.

The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic event environment often outdoors and under varying weather conditions. Physical stamina is necessary to stand and walk for extended periods and perform light manual tasks, including lifting up to 20 pounds. Individuals must exhibit professionalism and calmness under pressure while delivering friendly, professional customer service that enhances the guest experience. Communication with other security and operational staff is vital to support the smooth operation and safety of events held at the arena. The role does not involve supervisory responsibilities but is critical to the safety and efficiency of the events hosted at the venue.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy engaging with people, working in a team-oriented environment, and contributing to the success of large-scale events. Experience in event venues, security, parking operations, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. A high school diploma or GED is also preferred, and candidates must be at least 18 years old.
