The Save Mart Center, one of the premier venues managed by ASM Global, is currently seeking a Parking Attendant to join its Event Operations department. This role is a key part of ensuring a seamless and positive experience for visitors attending events at the venue.
The position of Parking Attendant involves overseeing parking facilities, ensuring compliance with parking regulations, and providing exceptional assistance and customer service to patrons. The role requires the individual to distribute parking tickets, handle the collection of parking fees, and offer general information to guests with professionalism and friendliness at all times. The Parking Attendant reports directly to the Parking Manager and is classified as an hourly non-exempt employee with a competitive salary of $17.15 per hour. Given the nature of the responsibility, candidates must pass a clean background and credit check to ensure trustworthiness and integrity in handling funds and customer interactions.
Working as a Parking Attendant at the Save Mart Center entails being outdoors year-round in the venue's parking lots, often in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The attendant will handle multiple tasks simultaneously, requiring flexibility and excellent communication skills. Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- at least six months cash handling experience
- at least six months customer service experience
- must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to collect funds and make change accurately

- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
- ability to remain flexible and adjust to situations
- ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- Receive all guests with outstanding friendly customer service
- sell parking tickets, collecting funds and making change as needed
- answer general questions about the arena and provide assistance when needed
- assist Parking/Security Manager and Parking Supervisors when needed
- all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
