The parking attendant is responsible for cash handling, including collecting parking fees in compliance with established procedures, counting the cash bank at the end of shifts, documenting transactions accurately, and resolving any discrepancies effectively.
Beyond financial transactions, this role requires maintaining the tidiness of the parking lot through regular trash collection and surface cleaning, contributing to a welcoming environment for guests. The work environment includes outdoor conditions, requiring flexibility and readiness to operate under various weather conditions.

Job Duties
- Monitor parking lot and assist in directing guests to available spots
- Monitor safety and security of parking lot and report any issues or concerns to hotel management, security and/or law enforcement as necessary
- Collect payment for parking services in compliance with established cash handling and accounting procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot, collecting and disposing of trash and maintaining and cleaning surfaces
- Count bank at end of shift, complete necessary documentation, resolve any discrepancies, and secure bank in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assist guests or refer guests to necessary associates for help with any questions or requests
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Perform other duties as requested by management
