Job Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license
- Driving record compliant with local policies
- Enrollment or willingness to enroll in California Employer Pull Notice Program
- Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle cash or cash equivalents
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to patient privacy regulations
- Ability to operate electronic fee computer and related equipment
- Ability to count and reconcile money
- Ability to project positive and professional image
- Ability to read and understand English instructions
- Willingness to participate in background check and fingerprinting
- Ability to comply with UC policies on misconduct disclosure
- Availability to work in a 24/7 operation
- Ability to follow safety and health practices
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and climbing
Job Qualifications
- Experience in cash handling and/or customer service
- Experience providing high-quality customer service
- Experience in administrative support role
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems
- Typing skills for accurate data input
- Ability to protect confidential information
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal forms
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle urgent and high-priority issues
- Ability to operate electronic fee computer
- Ability to count money and perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to read and follow electronic cash register instructions
- Familiarity with hospital locations

Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of parking command center
- Receive and respond to calls for assistance
- Control access for all parking facilities
- Perform cashier duties in high-volume parking operations
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
- Operate electronic fee computer and maintain supplies and equipment
- Communicate maintenance issues to appropriate staff
- Assist with administrative support and training
- Enforce parking policies in accordance with California Vehicle Code and UC Parking code
- Handle cash, reconcile daily deposits
- Provide information about hospital clinic and department locations
- Use tact and diplomacy in handling customer complaints
- Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
