We are now seeking passionate individuals to join our culinary team as a Theme Park Cook, a role that combines culinary expertise with the excitement of working in a vibrant, theme park environment. The Theme Park Cook is responsible for preparing and producing food that meets exacting recipe and sanitation standards to ensure our guests enjoy delicious and safe dining options. This role entails setting up and maintaining food stations, adhering to company guidelines on portions and preparation methods, and sustaining a clean and orderly kitchen environment. In addition to culinary responsibilities, the role involves providing exceptional guest service, answering questions, and assisting guests courteously to enhance their dining experience. Working as a Theme Park Cook demands attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a busy setting, and a commitment to teamwork and safety. Job Requirements

Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs with assistance
The noise level is generally moderate to high
Team members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather
Depending on the assigned location, work can be almost exclusively outdoors
Must be available to work at least 4 days per week throughout the peak seasons to include a rotation of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years old or older
Previous culinary experience preferred but not required
Culinary degree preferred but not required

Job Duties

Set up stations according to USH restaurant guidelines and restock all items as needed throughout shift
Prepare orders according to guest preference using established recipes, portions and methods established by the company in a sanitary and timely manner
Maintain a clean work area, including washing dishes, pots, pans and other kitchen items while following established safety standards and safe food handling guidelines
Promote and provide extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests
answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance in a courteous manner
Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices and ensure department standards are maintained and safety policies for the park upheld
Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols
Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere
Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions
Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages
Perform other duties as assigned
