Focused on fostering child development and family well-being, it operates various initiatives that include Head Start and Early Head Start programs in multiple counties such as Hernando, Sumter, and Volusia. The organization is well recognized for its community partnership efforts and for delivering high-quality, evidence-based family engagement services that empower parents and caregivers. They place a strong emphasis on upholding federal, state, and local regulations, including the stringent guidelines of the Head Start Performance Standards, to maintain program integrity and maximize positive outcomes for families.

The Parent, Family, and Community Engagement (PFCE) Coordinator position at You Thrive Florida is a vital, full-time, benefits-eligible role designed for an outgoing, energetic, and relationship-focused professional. This role requires a highly visible, regional leader who will spearhead family engagement and community partnerships across multiple Early Learning Programs. Operating primarily across Hernando and Volusia counties with frequent travel to Sumter and other locations, this position demands a proactive individual energized by dynamic environments and capable of representing the organization with professionalism in diverse community settings. It involves spearheading recruitment and retention efforts for parent leadership roles, including managing Parent Committees and Policy Council processes, and developing specialized strategies to increase father and male figure involvement in family engagement. The PFCE Coordinator will also play a critical role in forging and sustaining partnerships with community organizations, expanding access to resources that support family stability, health, and educational success.

In addition to direct engagement, the PFCE Coordinator is responsible for systematic tracking, monitoring, and reporting of family engagement activities within the ChildPlus data system, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role requires strong communication and digital outreach skills to enhance program visibility through social media and other digital platforms. Candidates must exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and independent judgment to navigate the complexities of a multi-site program structure while maintaining cultural and linguistic responsiveness to diverse populations.

This position works Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. It offers a competitive salary with comprehensive benefits including vacation, sick and paid time off, employer-paid health insurance, vision and dental plans, a 403B retirement plan, 14 paid holidays, pet insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Additionally, You Thrive Florida is a qualified employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, underscoring its commitment to supporting its workforce's long-term financial well-being through career advancement and professional development opportunities.

Overall, the PFCE Coordinator role is designed for someone with at least two years of relevant experience in human services or family engagement, who can bring enthusiasm, leadership, and strategic vision to further strengthen You Thrive Florida's mission of supporting early childhood education and family empowerment across the state.
