This full-time Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) role is integral to the plasma center’s operational success and donor safety. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.32 to $33.44 and a $2,500 sign-on bonus along with day one benefits, reflecting the company’s commitment to equitable compensation. Located in Lenexa, KS, the role requires active engagement with donors and involves determining donor eligibility, managing donor reactions, reviewing laboratory test results, and handling donor notifications. Working under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician, the Medical Support Specialist ensures compliance with plasma industry regulations and supports environmental health and safety initiatives at the center.

Responsibilities include conducting medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing, management of adverse events, and emergency medical response, all within established standard operating procedures (SOPs). The role also involves collaboration with Medical Affairs to manage unacceptable test results and coordinate vaccination programs for employees. Certified skills such as CPR and AED, along with proper IV therapy training, are necessary for ensuring donor and staff safety. Candidates bring clinical experience typically gained over two years in hospital or clinical settings.
