Each location is not only a restaurant but a destination where delicious food meets great vibes, creating memorable moments for every patron. This group places a strong emphasis on company culture, fostering a work environment that many employees consider a life purpose. With a welcoming, supportive atmosphere and a tight-knit team, the culture nurtures creativity, passion, and attention to the smallest detail, setting it apart in the hospitality industry.
Currently seeking to expand their team at Paradise Park - Wicker Park in Chicago, Happy Hospitality is inviting applications for the role of Host. This position is critically important as it sets the tone for the guest experience upon arrival. The ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to be part of a fast-expanding restaurant group. Flexibility, initiative, and a genuine enjoyment of working with people are key attributes desired in applicants. The role involves providing friendly and responsive service by greeting guests warmly, managing seating efficiently, and ensuring that every guest feels valued from the moment they step through the door. This role demands standing for long hours, handling a busy and sometimes hectic front-of-house environment, and maintaining a positive attitude regardless of challenges.
The Host position offers a variable hour status and reports directly to the General Manager. It pays an hourly wage ranging from $19 to $22, commensurate with experience, and includes a range of appealing benefits such as medical, dental, vision options, and paid time off. Employees enjoy flexible scheduling within a friendly, family-oriented team environment, and dining discounts both during shifts and at other locations under the Happy Hospitality umbrella. The company’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity is explicit, fostering an inclusive culture that values diversity across gender, ethnicity, age, and other demographics. Eligible candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and delivering top-notch customer service, with room for professional growth in an innovative and creative restaurant group environment.
