The work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, within hours of 7:30 am to 3:00 or 4:30 pm, with no weekend work, offering a balanced work-life environment. Compensation ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, paid weekly. The company provides benefits such as paid sick leave and a 401K plan (subject to eligibility), supporting employee wellbeing and financial security.
This role demands a genuine passion for education, patience, dedication, and a willingness to engage intimately with students who have personal care needs. Physical requirements include being comfortable on your feet throughout the day, the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and the readiness to respond quickly when assisting students. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in special education, crisis prevention training, and certifications such as CPR.
