Hilton's award-winning culture, recognized repeatedly on the World's Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune, reflects its dedication to creating a positive and supportive workplace where team members can thrive and build fulfilling careers. As a hospitality company, Hilton offers a range of roles designed to enhance every guest's stay through personalized service and genuine care.
The Pantry Cook role at Hilton is an essential kitchen position focused on ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, while supporting the larger culinary team in delivering a memorable dining experience. This full-time union role requires the candidate to work varied 8-hour shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, flexible to business needs and seniority. The position primarily involves preparing fresh ingredients such as cold components for soups, sauces, salads, and other dishes, meticulously assembling and plating food to meet Hilton's high standards of quality and presentation. Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitary workspace is crucial as the Pantry Cook adheres strictly to food safety, storage, and regulatory guidelines. This includes health and sanitation protocols, alcohol awareness compliance, and contributing to the overall well-being and safety of guests and team members.
Hilton values core attributes such as integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a proactive approach to excellence. The Pantry Cook embodies these values by delivering the light and warmth of hospitality with every task, acting responsibly and collaboratively to support the kitchen's operations. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of two years' experience in hotel or restaurant settings, especially those with pantry or garde manger expertise. Experience in high-volume, bulk cooking is highly desirable, along with the ability to meet the scheduling demands of a dynamic hospitality environment.
Joining Hilton means becoming part of a company that invests deeply in its people. Beyond competitive pay, Hilton offers exceptional benefits including discounted travel opportunities allowing employees to enjoy stays at world-class hotels, an employee stock purchase plan to build financial security, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving and crisis support services, mental health resources through an employee assistance program, generous paid time off, and comprehensive health and welfare plans. These programs reflect Hilton's commitment to supporting team members in all aspects of their lives, fostering a caring culture that extends well beyond the guest experience.
Hilton welcomes candidates who are passionate about hospitality and want to contribute to a respected global brand with opportunities for growth and career development. Whether you are beginning your hospitality career or looking to expand your skills, the Pantry Cook position offers an engaging and rewarding opportunity to shine within a world-class hotel group and help make every guest's stay a truly special occasion.
